Ya ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que leí este libro, lo compré, lo terminé en una semana y solo dos semanas después vi la película. Había escuchado comentarios sobre el libro, así que ya tenía algún tipo de expectativa, pero termino sorprendiéndome. La película le hizo justicia al libro, los personajes asemejaban las descripciones, el libreto era justo como debía ser, menos una que otra cosa que eran mas elaboradas en el libro, detalles que yo extrañe, pero estoy segura que no muchas personas se dieron cuenta. La historia se desenvuelve lentamente, desde el inicio sabes que terminará de cierta manera, pero es lo que pasa durante ese proceso que lo hace tan cautivante, en mi caso me hizo ver detalles y la vida en general de una perspectiva distinta, el significado del tiempo y la importancia de las pequeñas cosas las cuales pueden definir tu existencia en vez de solo ser otra partícula simplemente recorriendo por el aire. Si no quieres tener que leer el libro completo, recomiendo la película, ya que como mencione anteriormente, se mantiene fiel al libro, pero si quieres experimentar una lectura un poco distinta, dedícale el tiempo, te aseguro que valdrá la pena.
A long time has gone by since I read this book, I bought it, finished it in a week and just two weeks after that I saw the movie too. I had heard comments about it, so I had some kind of expectation, but it ended up surprising me. The movie did justice to the book, the characters resembled the descriptions to the letter, the script was exactly as it was supposed to, minor a few things that were more elaborate on the book, things I missed, but I’m sure not many people would have noticed. The story evolves slowly, from the get go you know it’s going to end a certain way, but it’s what happens between the time you’re getting there that makes their story so captivating, in my case it made me see things and life in such a different way, the meaning of time and the importance of details, such little things that can define your existence instead of just being another particle just flying by. If you don’t want to go through reading the entire book, I recommend the movie, because like I said it stays true to the book, but if you want to experience something quite different, go ahead and give it the time, I assure it’s worth it.
