La paleta Chocolate Bar de Too Faced es su nuevo bebé y yo siendo amante del maquillaje tenía que tenerla en mi colección. No está de más una paleta de colores neutrales para jugar con ellos. Anteriormente no había utilizado sombras de Too Faced por ningún motivo en particular, nada me había cautivado hasta que lanzaron esta paleta. El haber adquirido esta paleta es la mejor manera de darme una idea sobre como es la marca y su calidad.
The Chocolate Bar palette from Too Faced is their new baby and I, being a make-up lover, had to have it in my collection. A neutral palette is never enough to have and to play with shades. I’ve never used a Too Faced palette before, for any particular reason, but simply nothing caught my attention until they launched it. Having obtained this palette may have been the best way for me to obtain knowledge about the brand and quality of their product.
La paleta es en forma de barra de chocolate, claro por eso su nombre. Luce nítida y es bastante compacta considerando la cantidad de sombras que contiene. Una vez abres la paleta puedes percibir un olor a chocolate el cual está impregnado en cada una de las sombras. El olor no es nada fuerte y es súper agradable.
The palette resembles a chocolate bar, as its name implies. It looks tidy and it’s pretty compact considering the amount of cosmetics it has. Once you open the palette you can sense a chocolate aroma that’s actually impregnates in each shade it contains. The odor is not at all strong; it’s actually really pleasant.
La paleta contiene 16 sombras algunas matte y otras con luminosidad, además la variedad de tonos claros y oscuros que te permite usarla para un look de día al igual que para un look de noche. Lo que yo busco en una paleta es poder usarla exclusivamente sin tener que utilizar cualquier otro color de otra paleta y Too Faced lo ha logrado.
The palette contains 16 shadows, some matte and some with luminosity, apart from a variety of lighter and darker shades that let’s you use it for a day look as well as a night one. What I look in a palette is to have the variety to just have to use colors from it without looking for anything else from another one and Too Faced has achieved that goal.
Las sombras son muy pigmentadas y cremosas. Las matte sorprendentemente se difuminan muy bien. Too Faced definitivamente la pegó con su alegación de alta pigmentación y la capacidad de difuminar las sombras. Me encanta lo suave que son y como se transfieren tan bien a los párpados. ¡Y los nombres me encantan!
The shadows are very pigmented and creamy. The matte blends surprisingly well. Too Faced definitely were right when they stated the shadows were high pigmented and blended very well. I love how smooth they are and how they transfer very well to your lids. Also, ¡Love the names!

Estoy muy impresionada con mi primera inversión en sombras Too Faced y no me arrepiento de haber elegido esta paleta. Y dicho esto estoy intrigada a probar más de lo que Too Faced tiene para ofrecer. Recomiendo esta paleta para quien ande en busca de una paleta portátil y que quiera explorar con el color y dar un paso fuera de su zona de confort.
I am very impressed with my first investment in Too Faced shadows and I do not regret at all choosing this palette. Having said this, I now find myself very intrigued to try the other things Too Faced has to offer. I recommend it for someone who is looking for a portable palette, who wants to explore with color and take a step out of the comfort zone.
