Ayer fue el día de acción de gracias y no tuvimos suficiente tiempo para hacer nuestro postre, así que decidimos hacerlo hoy, nunca es demasiado tarde. Estuve buscando una receta que fuera diferente a lo que hacemos normalmente, suficientemente rica y relevante a las celebraciones que se acercan. Me encontré con esta receta de “Cranberry Buckle” en la pagina ‘yummly’, la cual es estupenda para cuando buscas inspiración o algo diferente para salir de la rutina. Decidimos hacerla y termino tan deliciosa, la textura es como de un bizcocho, de igual manera un poco “crumbly”, tiene un toque de cítrico y decidimos rociarle un poco de “frosting” de queso crema hecho en casa, de mas esta decir que los sabores se complementaban muy bien. Recomendamos esta receta para esta época de navidad, es diferente, dulce y los “cranberries” le dan un toque un poco mas agrio, pero encima de todo podemos decir que es exquisita. Yesterday was thanksgiving and we didn’t had enough time to make our dessert, so we made it today, it is never too late! I was looking for a recipe that was different to what we normally make, tasty enough and relevant to the holidays. I came across this Cranberry Buckle recipe on this page called yummly, which is amazing when you want inspiration or want to try something new. We gave it a go and it turned out so tasty, the texture is cake-y yet kind of crumbly, it has a citrus-y hint and we topped it with a homemade cream cheese frosting, it just tasted so good. We recommend this recipe for Christmas, it’s different, sweet and the cranberries give it a more sour touch, but overall very delicious. Click here to see the recipe.
