Decidí probar la Miracle Complexion Sponge de Real Techniques luego de haber visto varios videos comparandola con la original Beauty Blender. Ya yo tenía la original Beauty Blender por lo que no me importaba del todo el probar esta de Real Techniques solo por el precio, sino más bien por el resultado que se pueda obtener con ella.
I decided to try the Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques after watching several videos that compared it with the original Beauty Blender. I already had the original Beauty Blender so I did not mind at all trying this one from Real Techniques only for the money, but rather for the result you can get with it.
Una de mis primeras observaciones con esta esponja es lo densa que es, tanto seca como húmeda. Me di cuenta que incluso cuando está totalmente húmeda lista para usar, absorbe una gran cantidad de base y más aun si la base es muy líquida. Usé casi el doble de base que uso regularmente para alcanzar el nivel de cobertura que se que la base que utilicé me puede dar. Eso sí aun luego de usar más cantidad de base de lo normal el resultado fue natural no se veía mucho maquillaje.
One of my first observations with this sponge is how dense it is, both dry and wet. I noticed that even when fully ready to use wet, it absorbs a large amount of foundation and even more if the foundation is very liquid. I used almost double the foundation that I use regularly to achieve the level of coverage that the foundation I use can give me. Of course even after using more foundation than usual the result was natural, a big amount of make-up wasn’t noticeable.
El tamaño es bastante grande, con un extremo en punta y en el lado opuesto un borde más aplanado. Al momento de aplicar el producto no es tan suave como el Beauty Blender, en un momento me dio dolor en el codo de tanta presión que tenía que hacer para que la base se aplicara bien en la piel.
The size is quite large, with a pointed end on one side and the opposite side with a flattened rim. When applying the product it is not as smooth as the Beauty Blender at a time it gave me elbow pain due to how much pressure I had to do so the foundation applied well to the skin.

Para limpiarlo utilicé desmaquillante solo para ver sun funcionaba y también usé el limpiador que uso regularmente para quitarme el maquillaje de la cara. Se que viene un limpiador para el Beauty Blender que dicen que es muy bueno, asumo que también debe funcionar para esta de Real Techniques.
To clean it I used makeup remover just to see if it worked and I also used the cleaner that I use regularly to take off my face makeup. I know a cleaner comes for the Beauty Blender which they say is very good, I assume it must also work for this one of Real Techniques.
Mi favorita entre las dos sigue siendo la original Beauty Blender es más suave y no absorbe tanto maquillaje lo que hace que no desperdicies más producto, el resultado de las dos es el mismo. Puedo recomendarla a quienes están empezando a experimentar con maquillaje y no pueden invertir mucho dinero en brochas para base que son más costosas. Además lo recomiendo a quienes buscan un acabado natural al momento de aplicar su base.
My favorite between the two remains the original Beauty Blender it is softer and it does not absorb too much makeup which does not waste product, the result of both is the same. I recommend it to those who are beginning to experiment with makeup and can not invest much money in foundation brushes that are more expensive. I also recommend it to those looking for a natural finish when applying your foundation.
